Happy Friday [Favorites], Y’all!
This week went by so fast! I hope you had a productive week. I was quite busy this week, myself.
All I know is, I’m just happy it’s Friday!
Do you know what that means? Yep, that’s right!
It’s my 10 Friday Favorites day!! 🙂
For the past couple of months, I’ve been catching up with things around the house, doing projects left and right, and kind of letting myself go.
In other words, I’ve had two to three-day hair a couple of times, I’ve stayed in my night-clothes all day, and I can’t remember the last time I’ve looked in the mirror!
I almost feel as if I should be wearing a moo-moo.
Can you relate?
Good. I’m glad I’m not the only one.
With that said, I felt it was time to get back in the groove. So, this week was my Beauty Glam week!
In my studio, I’ve created a Beauty Vanity area. It’s so cute!
I promise I’ll show you very soon! But in the meantime, here’s a sneak peek of what I got to change the rut I got myself in.
MY 10 FRIDAY FAVORITES
- For starters, I tossed out the old and stocked up with new makeup and skincare products. I have to say it felt like Christmas day when I received my package. I’m going to play dress-up all weekend!
- Since I have new makeup, I got this adorable zoom mirror. It zooms X20 for detailing makeup, and it came with tweezers and a pouf brush. Win, win!
3. A couple of weeks ago I painted my granddaughters’ nails and five minutes later the polish smeared off while she was playing. I got this nail dryer to prevent that the next time.
4. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I got stick-on nails. They were so pretty!
This time I wanted to see what the fuss was about with gel nail polish. So, I got some to try out!
My favorite color in one of my sets is “356”. I never thought I would like a green shade, but it’s very lovely!
5. OK. I’ve never worn fake eyelashes before. But on my FACEBOOK, I kept seeing this magnetic eyelashes ad popping up all the time!
So, guess what? I figured, what the heck, it’ll be fun! 🙂 I got them. They were so great! Where have you been all my life? Or, I should say, Where have I been? I’m so Old School, it’s not even funny!
6. I needed these brushes and these to apply my makeup! They look so good in my Beauty Vanity area. I love the colors of the handles, too!
7. YES. I did it. I had to have a pink shag! I use it on my vanity chair. I know, I know, how old am I? I’ve always wanted one, so there! OK, I got two of them!
The last three are not shown above because I haven’t received them yet, they’ll be delivered, Friday afternoon. Here’s what they look like, below…
8. Now that I have new makeup, I need something to organize them in. So, I got this turntable organizer.
9. A true vanity area isn’t a vanity unless you have the full shabang! So I got these mirror lights. My theme is Hollywood Girlie-Glam, so I think these will do the trick!
10. Last but not least. The full size mirror! This is to keep me in check!

See, Friends, when I put my mind to it, I go all out. Maybe it’s my OCD!
Anyway’s sometime’s you just have to give yourself a push and get your shizzle together. This was my way of doing so.
