Ingredients
3TBSPButter or Margarine
1/4tsp.Vanilla
1/4tsp. Salt
110 ozPackage Miniature Marshmallows
6cupsKellogg's Rice Krispies Cereal
4Milk Chocolate Candy Bars or chocolate chipsI used Hershey's candy bars.
22Peanut butter cup mini's
Dash of sprinkles
Dash of chopped nuts
Wooden Skewers
Instructions
In a bowl, add butter or margarine, vanilla, salt. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Add the marshmallows to the mixture and stir again, until well coated.
Microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds, then stir.
Stir Rice Krispies cereal into your melted marshmallow mixture and cool for about 10 minutes.
Spray cooking oil [any kind] onto your hand to keep the mixture from sticking to your hands.
Using an ice cream scoop, scoop up a scoop full of the mixture and cup into your palm.
Put a peanut butter cup on top of the mixture on your palm.
Scoop another scoop full of the mixture and layer it on top of the peanut butter cup.
With both hands, mold together the mixture to form a ball, set aside.
Repeat steps until all balls are formed and attach the wooden skewers to make ball pops.
Set aside balls for at least 30-45 minutes to cool and harden.
To melt the chocolate.
Place water into a small sauce pan and bring to a small boil.
Place chocolate bars or chocolate chips into a heat resistant measuring cup.
Place the cup into the sauce pan with boiling water.
As the chocolate melts, turn heat to simmer. Stir continuously until completely melted. Remove from heat.
Dip Krispies Ball Pops in chocolate and top with your favorite sprinkles and nuts.
