Ingredients
CRUST
1½cupAll-Purpose Flour
½tspsalt
2/3cupbrown sugar packed
¼tspbaking soda
½tspbaking powder
½cupmargarine melted
1tspvanilla extract
2egg yolks
CENTER TOPPING
3cupsminiature marshmallows
FINAL TOPPING
⅔cupcorn syrup
12ozpeanut butter chipsI used Reese's
¼cupmargarine
2tspvanilla extract
2cupsrice cereal
2cupssalted peanuts
Instructions
Gather, measure, and prep all of the ingredients. Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a medium bowl, combine the crust ingredients and mix well. Press the crust mixture into a 9X13 baking pan. Bake crust in the oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
For the center topping, immediately sprinkle the marshmallows evenly on the top of the baked crust and return to the oven for 1-2 minutes, or until the marshmallows puff. Remove from the oven and cool while preparing the final topping.
Heat the final topping ingredients in a sauce-pot on low-simmer until the chips are melted and smooth.
In a large bowl, add the rice cereal and peanuts. Pour the melted chips mixture over the rice cereal and peanuts, then mix well.
