Ingredients

Family Pack [5-6 ] Leg quarters [skin on]

Chopped or Diced Carrots

Cup
Chopped or Diced Celery

Chopped Cabbage

Medium
Chopped or Diced Yellow Onion

Fresh Sage Leaf Optional

Parsley Flakes

Chicken Bouillon

Coarse Black Pepper

White Rice

Instructions
Place chicken in a 8 quart cooking pot with med/high heat.
Add water
Add carrots, celery, Fresh Sage Leaf Optional and onion, stir.
Add parsley flakes, bouillon, pepper and salt
Add Cabbage and Mix well.
Cook for 30 minutes uncovered, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat to medium, cover for 30 minutes.
Remove chicken pieces from pot. Debone and De-skin. Remove and dispose of sage leaf.
Put chicken pieces back in the pot, stir.
Add rice, stir.
Cover, reduce heat to simmer for 1 hour.
Remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes.
Top with pepper, Enjoy!
Notes
Do not add water to leftovers.
